CWind Germany has also been handed a temporary employment license allowing it to lease technicians to clients.

The subsidiary will begin with focussing on turbine installation services, temporary power supply and corrosion protection, its parent company said.

CWind Germany will appoint a sales manager to help grow the unit and expand its portfolio of clients and service areas.

CWind managing director Peter Jorgensen, said the move shows the company's commitment to Germany and its future growth.

In April, CWind signed a contract extension with Siemens to provide turbine technicians for a number of UK offshore projects, having previously worked on London Array and West of Duddon Sands projects.
