The Seacat Ranger will be contracted continuously up until March 2015 after it is official launch and naming ceremony tomorrow in Southampton.

It will then head to the project off the UK east coast to fulfil a cable termination contract for manufacturer Nexans.

The 24-metre catarmaran is the newest addition to support vessel operator Seacat Services, taking the company's fleet up to seven DNV GL certified boats.

Seacat is currently constructing its first 26-metre catamaran on the Isle of Wight, which is expected to be launched in October.

The Westermost Rough project recently completed installing the substation and foundations for the 35 Siemens 6MW turbines that will be used.
