The tender sets out the requirements to pre-qualify for the tender.

The pre-qualification process is designed to ensure only those that can develop the project financially and technically can participate in the tender.

Denmark’s climate and energy minister, Martin Lidegaard, approved the notice.

The Energy Agreement 2012 includes the 600MW Krieger's Flak in the Baltic Sea, which will be put out to tender in 2014.

Applications for pre-qualification for Horns Rev 3 will close on 23 April. The DEA will choose a maximum of six applicants and hopes to make a decision a few weeks after the deadline.
